Wedding Trial FAQ
why would I want a wedding trial?
Even if you know what you want its good to have a wedding trial. Firstly to make sure me as a stylist and you as the bride are on the same page.
Secondly to make sure you have the right texture or amount of hair needed for the desired style. If you don't we can determine what hair accessories e.g. bun rings or extra hair you may need to get for the day.
What if I change my mind?
If you change your mind after your first consultation about what you want on the day, its not a problem, I didn't no until the day of my wedding what I wanted!
We can always book you in for extra trials & if that's not in your budget don't worry, as long as we have had at least one consultation and I have seen your hair it will be ok just give me an email and send me some pictures.
What if I don't like something you do?
Do not worry, I will not be offended, that is what trials are for, we are all very different people and like very different things, I would rather you say "that is to much volume for me" or "make it higher" then you tell me on the wedding day when the pressure is on.
Why is my wedding hair more expensive then the bridesmaids?
Weddings are quoted bearing in mind many different factors - styling hair in preparation for your hair up, some may need heated rollers etc, amount of bridesmaids, travel to the venue and most importantly the stylists time out of the salon so they can give you there full attention on the day!
Deposit
£50.00 deposit is needed to secure the date of your wedding, this will be taken off the price on the wedding day and your date is not secure without it.
If you know exactly who will be having their hair done on the wedding day and what they will be having, you can be extra organized and i can book it and you pay 50% deposit with the Fresha link through our booking system.
Wedding Day
On the morning of the wedding
Bride please make sure your hair is washed on the morning, preferably with Davines shampoo, i have sachets of shampoo to give you. This helps me on the morning so the hair is not weighed down with silicones etc. i will blow dry the hair and then do the styling, then we will do the do the hair up after i have finished the rest of your bridal party.
I will either do the vale for you or i can teach the bridesmaids how to get the vale in and out of the hair.
Mother of the Bride/Groom if you are having a blow dry please wash hair on the morning of the wedding again i can give sachets of shampoo to the bride. Make sure any hats or accessories are bought with you to the hair appointment.
Bridesmaids please wash your hair the night before the wedding and make sure in the morning the hair is fully dry and in the correct parting, this is to help me when the schedule is tight!
